This hotel is ideally located in the famous P.C. Hoofstraat, next to the Rijks Museum and near the Leidseplein, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk Museum. Equally, it is within walking distance to the historical centre. Boat rides and pedal boats also leave in front of the hotel.

The hotel is housed in a traditional white painted building. Rooms are decorated with plain furnishings and fabrics, and could be improved with some renovations. The spacious gallery restaurant which is next to the Stadhouderskade has a nice view over the canal, and is open for dinner every day offering a wide choice of menus. There is also a cosy bar, the perfect place to relax after a full day sightseeing. The lobby area is very small and simply decorated, and could benefit from some refurbishment.
