Since its renovation in 2000, this is one of the best deluxe hotels in Amsterdam with one of the best locations, suitable for even the most discerning traveller. The hotel has a traditional exterior as it consists of 24 canal houses which have been joined together to create a unique property blending in with its historical surroundings. All the rooms are typically Dutch and beautifully decorated although they vary in size from small to medium, however, they have been beautifully renovated in 2000 and most have wooden floors or beamed ceilings, heavy wood furniture and are in exceptional condition. The bathrooms are also in exceptional condition and are quite stunning, with beige, chequered marble floor and sink. Some have an arch over the bath with a crest on the wall overlooking the bath adding to the total royal feel that this hotel exudes.
