The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, close to all shops and major tourist attractions and a short walk from Central station.

The hotel consists of many traditional builidings all linked internally. The lobby is very elegantly decorated in green and pale wood with a wood reception desk and the floor is part tiled and part carpeted. The furniture is also very elegant with glass tables, mirrored ceilings and sandy coloured pillars. The bedrooms are very luxurious with beautiful patterned carpet, dark wood furniture and pale green and yellow soft furnishings. All bedrooms are medium sized. They are in good condition as are the bathrooms. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor and has the same colour scheme as the lobby. There is a nicely decorated "Duke of Windsor" brasserie-bar which reminds one of the Orient Express. Light snacks are served here in the evenings.
