This is a traditional, Georgian building, constructed in 1753 and completely renovated. The lobby is cosy and traditional and the decor consists of wood floors and fittings, combined with rich, earthy terracotta. All the medium sized rooms are spacious and simply decorated in warm colours. They are in good condition, as are the bathrooms. The hotel houses a bar called Copperface Jacks, which has discreet lighting and soft furnishings, complemented by antiques. There is also a very busy nightclub which is popular on most nights.
