This is one of the best known hotels in Dublin. It first opened its door in 1845. It was destroyed in the Easter Rising of 1916 and was rebuilt in 1926. The lobby is small, but comfortable and is located centrally, with the Bar to the left and the Restaurant to the right. The guest rooms are very tastefully decorated and well appointed, ensuring a comfortable stay. Wynn's restaurant, "The Peacock", is known for fine food and superb presentation. Guests can enjoy a carvery lunch, or a delicious a-la-carte dinner, accompanied by a bottle of wine from the extensive wine list. The Lounge Bar, meanwhile, provides a large selection of relaxing drinks to enjoy in a stylish setting. This is a traditional, elegant family run property which prides itsels on its warm, friendly atmosphere. .
