Location: Emperor (Happy Valley) Hotel
The hotel is located in an area of Hong Kong known as Happy Valley, in a quiet residential style cul de sac relatively close to the island horse racing circuit. It is about a 15 minute walk to the shopping district of Causeway Bay (the closest MTR station is Causeway Bay). There is also a tram terminus within a short walk from the hotel with trams heading for Causeway Bay Wanchai, Central and on to Western Market, Sheung Wan and Kennedy Town.

The hotel offers charm and warm service in a comforting ambiance of convenience and grace. The hotel lobby is small, with a sweeping wood stair case to the food outlet area. It's style is that of an English country manor house although the hotel itself is housed in a modern low rise building. The hotel rooms are small, which is average by Hong Kong standards. All are very well appointed in an English country manor house feel. The bathrooms are of average size but very well presented. The European style of the hotel makes it rather different to what is normally offered by Hong Kong hotels. Although it's location is not central, it is still not too far from the major shopping area of Causeway Bay.
