All are painted in cozy colors such as rust, burgundy and light pear. The furniture is done in cherry wood, blending beautifully with the wall tones. Original artwork, created especially for the Muse, adorns the walls. The Muse is also home to the District, a place where hip and fine dining go hand in hand. The restaurant, which was designed by David Rockwell, mimics a theater with sightlines that flow back through a series of proscenium arches. Woven steel curtains, drawn back, enhance the theater feel. The cuisine is American brasserie with an international feel.
