The hotel is located opposite the Gare Du Nord station, a few steps from Avenue Lafayette, leading directly to the Paris Opera. There are good public transport links close to the hotel.

This hotel was built in 1865 and is a wonderful, "Haussman" style Parisian building. It is recognised today as a historical monument. The lobby is spacious, with high ceilings and a huge Art Nouveau stained glass, atrium roof, which illuminates the reception area. The decor, with renaissance style statues, paintings and furnishings creates a harmonious atmosphere. The guest rooms vary in size and are in good condition. Their decor and furnishings are very traditional and Parisian in style. Triple rooms are double or twins with an extra bed, only suitable for a child.
