The hotel has a classic fresh Secession style exterior with yellow and white painted stonework. It has undergone extensive renovation to resore its original 14th century charm. The rooms are quite well appointed, modern and clean. Some have air conditioning. The colour scheme is blue and white. The tiny lobby is well lit by artificial light. The area has a marble floor, stone walls and a small lobby bar. The main restaurant is in the basement and has a nautical theme. The walls are very rough and the lighting and atmopshere are that of an underwater sea cave.
