Description: Waldstein Hotel
The beautiful historical building of Waldstein Hotel is situated right in the Prague center - in Lesser Town, at foot of Prague Castle, near Charles Bridge and other historical monuments.
The originally Gothic house received its recent form in the time of the late Renaissance. The final adaptations, made by Alois Kamaryt, the ancestor of the contemporary owners, are from the 90th years of the 19th century. There are painted ceilings dating from the 17th century preserved in some rooms, while in some others you would find Gothic and Renaissance vaults. Thanks to the uniquely preserved architectural elements the house was registered to the List of Cultural Real Monuments of the Czech Republic.
The Hotel offers 13 rooms with two to four beds and suites. They are furnished with the original antique and historical furniture, their own bathroom with bath or shower and toilet. Rich buffet breakfasts are served in lovely Renaissance vault with an original well. The vault is available during day and night time and in the summer time you can also relax in the pleasant milieu of the hotel atrium.
