The Best Western Americania hotel is located in the heart of San Francisco just south of Market Street near all the major attractions. Lodging at the Americania is only a short walk or complimentary shuttle ride to Union Square, cable cars and shopping.

Built in 1961, this hotel resembles a Mediterranean resort hotel with it’s heated rooftop swimming pool, sundeck and secluded fountained courtyard. The hotel also offers guests the use of fitness centre, two saunas and there’s a courtesy bus to Union Square.
The lobby has full height windows, is spacious, with brightly coloured furniture and carpeting and the largest leather couch you have ever seen! The walls are adorned with a beautiful mural depicting various scenes of San Francisco.
Rooms further enhance the Mediterranean theme with brightly coloured bedding, original artwork and light woodwork and furniture. Rooms have large windows which open, adding to the airy feeling that is prevalent throughout the hotel. As standard in the rooms you can expect to find a games console, satellite TV, as well as the usual iron, telephone and internet access. Larger rooms also include a refrigerator. Each room has a telephone from which you can make free local calls.
Dining in Pepper’s Bar & Grill is informal and American in style. There’s plenty of space to relax by the fireside in the lounge, where you can also access the internet, or you can visit the main bar for a wide range of drinks including a selection from local microbreweries.
