Description: Hilton San Francisco Hotel
You know what to expect with a Hilton hotel and this one is no different from the rest. Situated in three towers reaching 46 floors, the hotel is large with five places for food/drink, spa, beauty salon, gift shops and 1900 bedrooms.
Standard bedrooms are large and modern with beautiful mahogany coloured furniture, deep coloured bedding and light but warm walls. Some rooms have superb views over the city. You can expect to find the usual facilities in the bedrooms including games console, coffee maker, in-room checkout facility and dual telephone line.
The 46th floor Cityscape restaurant is open each evening for dinner and dancing (as well as Sunday brunch) and offers American cuisine with a Mediterranean twist as well as stunning city views.
The hotel also offers four alternative food/drink outlets. Open each morning for coffees, juices and pastries there is the Daily Cup coffee bar. For breakfast, lunch and dinner choices you can go to The Café, serving Californian cuisine in lavish buffets, or Intermezzo the Italian style sidewalk café serving mainly gourmet foccacia sandwiches and pizzas. The fifth choice, Kiku of Tokyo is somewhat different from the others, this time, as the name suggests serving authentic Japanese cuisine.
