Description: Nikko hotel
To begin with, Hotel Nikko doubles as an art gallery, so you can expect to see some amazing modern art works on the walls of the public areas. The lobby has comfortable low sofas set inbetween white marble and black sculptures. The hotel is quite large with 510 rooms split over 25 floors.
Floors 6 to 21 have the deluxe rooms which are very modern with lovely earthy and tranquil tones throughout. You can expect all the usual facilities including high speed internet access, CD player, dual phone line (including one in the bathroom!) and climate controls. Bathrooms are lavish marble and most rooms have both bath and separate shower.
Why not pamper yourself with a massage or relax in the separate male and female saunas in the health club. There’s also a beauty/hair salon, gift shop and perfumery and beside the O’Farrell Street entrance the hotel has it’s own Starbucks coffee shop!
Dining in the Anzu restaurant can be expensive but you can dine on a combination of steakhouse and sushi. There’s normal table seating or you can dine at the sake and sushi bar.
