This hotel is ideally situated for easy access to all the major attractions and sights of Venice. The building, named Palazzo Malpiero was constructed in 1484 and contains traditional Venetian features and architecture as well as beautiful gothic arches. Despite the age of the building, it has been well preserved and blends in with the surrounding architecture. The bedrooms vary in size and are elegantly furnished with silk covered walls. The hotel reception area, is quite spacious and can be accessed from the canal, via gondola. However, during high water, this isn't always possible. In the mornings, guests can enjoy breakfast, which is served individually, by room service, at a time specified by each guest, thus enhancing the relaxing and very welcoming atmosphere promoted by the hotel.
