This is a southwestern-style resort built around plazas and courtyards. The guestrooms are housed in 2-story cabanas, 2 & 3-story ranchos and 3- & 4-story casitas, all of which are situated in 3 villages around a 15 acre lake, called Lago Dorado. All rooms are spacious, well appointed and are fully equipped with a number of modern amenities, including a ceiling fan. Leisure facilities at the resort are varied and include a state-of-the-art health club and a large swimming pool, themed to a modern archeological "dig". In addition guests can enjoy both bicycle and boat rentals. The resort is also home to 3 good restaurants, including a food court which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
