Unlike the casual atmosphere of its sister resort, the Beach Club, this resort has more of a quiet, understated elegance about it. Sophistication is found in the dark hardwood floors, leather couches and antique chandeliers of the welcoming lobby area. The guestrooms are also luxuriously decorated with crisp white coloured furniture and blue carpeting and bedspreads. In keeping with the hotel`s theme, the headboards of the beds also feature a ship's wheel motif. Leisure opportunities at the resort are numerous. There are 2 heated outdoor swimming pools, sand volleyball courts and tennis courts, as well as a complete health club facility. The resort also features a marina, where guests can enjoy boat rental and can also board a water taxi for direct transportation to Epcot and the Disney MGM Studios. In addition, the resort houses 2 excellent restaurants. One restaurant boasts a yachting theme, with models of yachts and brightly coloured tabletops. The other, the resort`s signiture restaurant, is an elegant steakhouse. This is a superb property, offering a great standard of accommodation and service, in a fantastic location.
